Specialty Instructor Courses
- Move beyond Open Water Scuba Instructor. As an Open Water Scuba Instructor you can train and qualify to teach PADI Specialty Courses, some of the most enjoyable courses you will teach. As a Specialty Course Instructor you will have a distinct advantage in employability over those instructors not qualified to teach Specialty Courses, and have more fun.
- Qualify to teach five Specialty Courses through the Master Scuba Diver Trainer Prep Course and you will be ready to become a Master Scuba Diver Trainer, the next level in the PADI Instructor ranks.
Master Scuba Diver Trainer Prep Course
In this inclusive Prep course you will gain Specialty Instructor ratings in 5 different Specialty programs beyond those included in the OWSI Course (PPB & Aware courses). You will be qualified to teach these courses as soon as you complete this program and can apply for the Master Scuba Diver Trainer rating once you have issued 25 certifications.
Prerequisite: Open Water Scuba Instructor (Can be done in conjunction with the IDC)
Course Length: Course length varies dependant upon courses included, 4 to 8 days.
Longer if needing Sidemount or Full Face Mask training.
Cost: varies dependant upon courses included. As a MSDT candidate, you will receive a $100 discount off the price of each Specialty Instructor Course you join.
Individual Specialty Instructor Courses. Courses can be done on an individual basis giving you more choice over course timing and course selection, or combine 5 courses for the MSDT program and receive a $100 discount off the listed price of each course.
