Fish Identification Specialty Course
Join us on one of our excursions to the Mesoamerican Reef, the second largest reef system in the world. Learn about the fish families that inhabit the reef and get a chance to encounter some of them on 2 fun dives. After learning about basic Fish Anatomy, Families & ID methods we will take a stroll through a lot of the specific fish you are likely to be fortunate to encounter in our local waters. We don't focus on crazy scientific names and obscure Latin names, instead we focus on giving you the tools to identify those cool critters you keep running across and wondering, "What is that?"
Dive requirement: 2 Dives in 1 day
Cost: $205 US per diver
Multi-Diver Discount: two or more divers joining together will get a 10% multi-diver discount off the cost of the course
Prerequisites: 10 years of age and must hold a PADI Open Water Certification or the equivilent from another recognized training agency.
Please email us your schedule of dates you would be available to dive in Tulum. This course is not on schedule everyday, but if you let us know when you will be here we will do our best to get one scheduled for you.
