Rescue Diver Course
The Rescue Diver Course is the third step in the PADI Course progression toward Master Scuba Diver. If you have already done the Open Water and Advanced Open Water Courses, the next step is the Rescue Diver Course.
This is a 2 day program in which you will work on assisting other divers in the water as well as on land. Beginning with tired diver procedures, which you started learning in the Open Water Course, you will progress to assisting panicked divers. From there you will practice the skills needed to perform an organized search for a missing diver, and in the worst possible case, how to safely assist an unconscious diver.
Training in CPR is a prerequisite for participation in this course. If you hold current certification in CPR including rescue breathing, you meet the requirement. If your CPR training is compression only without rescue breathing, it does not meet the requirement for this course. If needed, we can include CPR and First Aid in this program. Cost for an add on CPR course is $85USD

At Tulum Diving Center we offer small class sizes of no more than 4 divers with an instructor. You will receive the most personalized, safest course of instructoin available. All of our courses are taught be professional PADI Instructors and supervised by Craig & Cathy, our two PADI Course Directors. Course Directors are Instructor Trainers, the highest level of Diving Instructor.
Study Requirement: When you register for the program we will assign you an E-Learning program that takes most divers 10 to 15 hours to complete.
Dive requirement: 2 days. This class is not pre scheduled as are some of our other courses. Please contact us and let us know when you will be here. We should be able to schedule a program to fit your schedule if given enough time. Don't wait till the last minute to schedule your course.
Cost: $549 US per diver
Multi-Diver Discount: two or more divers joining together will get a 10% multi-diver discount off the cost of the course

Oxygen Administration Specialty Course Discount
In our Rescue Diver Course you will learn the basics in how to assist an oxygen provider in administering emergency oxygen. If you are interested, we can take it one step further and teach you care and maintenence of an oxygen kit and authorize you to administer oxygen. You will gain the PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider Specialty Certification. The Specialty Course is normally $175, as an add on to the Rescue Course, the cost for the Specialty Certification will be only $100
Private Rescue Diver Class
Should you prefer a Private Course, we can arrange our program to suit your needs. We will work with you to find dates that work for you and offer an exclusive program just for you. The pricing below includes a 10% multi-diver discount off the private fee if there are two or three of you joining the private program. If there are four of you in your group, you can receive the standard pricing as outlined above.

Cost: $700 US per 1 diver
