Become a PADI Master Scuba Diver
The Master Scuba Diver certification is the highest 'nonprofessional' rating in scuba diving. Not to be confused with the Divemaster Rating which is the first of the professional ratings.
No matter your current certification level, we can assist you in becoming a Master Scuba Diver.
Divers attain the Master Scuba Diver rating when they have logged 50 dives as well as completed the Open Water Certification, the Advanced Open Water certification, the Rescue Diver Certification, Emergency First Response (CPR & First Aid) and at least five different PADI specialty certifications. (our TDI Cave Certifications do not apply to this rating. Only PADI certifications apply.)
The Master Scuba Diver rating places you in an elite group of respected divers who have earned this rating through both significant experience and scuba training. Fewer than two percent of divers ever achieve this rating. When you flash your Master Scuba Diver card, people know that you've spent time underwater in a variety of environments and had your share of dive adventures. Join the ranks of the 'best of the best'. It's easy, just keep diving.
Join us from the beginning Open Water Diver Course, or anywhere along the way.
Join us on one trip to Tulum, or multiple trips, we will work with you to gain the requisite courses and diving experience. Once you are Rescue diver certified with 50 dives, and complete your five Specialty certifications with Tulum Diving Center, we will pay your Master Scuba Diver application fee to PADI for you. You do not need to do all courses in one trip. Come dive with us again and again and when you complete that fifth Tulum Diving Center specialty we will send in your application for the Master Scuba Diver Rating.
Depending upon the Specialty Courses you choose, you can complete five Specialty Courses in as little as five days.
Specialty Course Fees vary.
