PADI Open Water Diver Course
The PADI Open Water Diver Course is the entry level program through which the majority of the divers in the world learn to dive. Although there are other training organizations out there, PADI is the largest and is truly a world wide certification. Once certified as a PADI diver, you will be certified to dive anywhere in the world.
At Tulum Diving Center we offer only private programs to give you the safest, most personalized program available. You will participate in three days of enjoyable diving, in which you will become comfortable with the skills necessary to safely enjoy the underwater world. All of our courses are taught be professional PADI Master Instructors Craig & Cathy, our two PADI Course Directors. Course Directors are Instructor Trainers, the highest level of Diving Instructor. There is a quality difference.
Study Requirement: When you register for the class you will receive an enjoyable E-Learning program which you can go through at home, on your own time prior to meeting us for the water training. Why waste your vacation time studying. Most of our divers tell us they spend 10 to 15 hours on the studies.
Dive requirement: 3 days Although each day's location will vary based upon the days weather and water conditions, the first two days we will usually be diving in some of the beautiful Cenotes the Yucatan is famous for. The third day we aim to dive on some of the Caribbean Reefs offshore from Tulum. Attention: All of our classes are arranged individually with you on a private basis. Although we do not offer training year around, within the time frames we are available, we will work with you to arrange for a class that fits your schedule. Cost: $949 US per diver. Fee includes private training, e-learning materials, all equipment usage, cenote fees, marine park fees, transportation from the dive center to the dive sites and back, PADI certification fees and snacks and water through the day. Multi-Diver Discount: two or more divers joining together will get a 20% multi-diver discount off the cost of the course

Payment in full is required to reserve your program. If your plans change, all payments, minus the cost of any study materials already supplied to the diver, and 10% cancellation fee, are refundable with 48 hour notice of cancellation. Cancellations within 48 hours start of the program art not refundable for any reason.
